R&R

Doug was able to come home for R&R and it went by too fast. He was here for a fun 2 weeks! We picked him up from the airport and it was just so great to be able to hug him again. Bella was tired and grumpy since it was so late (around 11:30pm) but the next morning when she woke up she was a little shy but then just wouldn't let him out of her sight! While he was home we watched movies, went to the zoo, went to jabbers, took Bella to see Cars 2, spent time without families EVERYTHING! We had some MUCH needed family time!

Doug left 2 days before our first year anniversary so we decided to take a fast fun trip to Utah and go shopping and go to the lagoon just the two of us and let me tell you it was sooo fun! Lagoon was a blast with Doug and i don't remember the last time i laughed that hard. Doug and i just got to be carefree for 2 days and i feel in love with him all over again. We also learned how to play Farkle and i cant tell you how many times i beat Doug, i mean we played haha.

Those two weeks where so fun but they went by way too fast. Having my two favorite people under the same roof is all i need to make me happy every day. Bella snuck into bed with us a couple times and i cant say it bothered me too much. the three of us cuddled the night away:)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE going on day dates (or night) with my sister, Olivia, and of course Bella! This summer has been great and went by fast because of all our dates we squeezed in. My sister is super talented in her career and dedicated not to mention has her own family so when its just the four of us it really is just special. Our girlies truly are best friends and we love watching them play! my favorite day date was when we went to go donate blood at my sisters school and ended up at Anne Morrison park after, went on a long walk, then played in the play ground, and finally ended up getting wet at the big fountain! it wasn't planned but it was so fun! here are some fun summer pictures:) enjoy!

Bella Turns TWO at the ZOO!

I blinked my eyes and suddenly my baby girl was turning two! We celebrating at the Anne Morrison Park and the theme was ELMO! It was fun planning a birthday with a theme i knew she truly would enjoy. So many friends and family came and it really was so fun! The sun came to wish Bella a happy birthday too:) My good friend Anne Helped me decorate her cupcakes because i wanted to make them myself:) We also made an Elmo cake. It was so fun! Bella loves parks and being outside so i knew this would be perfect for her. The day before her party we put some feather extensions in her hair and i knew she'd love it! She looked super cute with her feathers:)

Bella also got to open a gift early for her aunt patty, uncle Brandon, Issy bissy, and jack jack! She loved it!

Bella's Party was a hit! i was happy that all the kiddo's that came had a good time too and the adults enjoyed all the snack provided. I don't think Bella knew it was "her day" but she knew that she got to play with her friends all day at her "birfday" and "party party" all day. She's so cute and so smart i can hardly keep up with all the things she learns every day. She is like my little mini me and i love it! she repeats EVERYTHING so everyone def learns to mind what they say around her:) Later that night i wanted to take Bella to go see Kung Foo Panda 2. Bella loves the first one and i thought she might enjoy this too:) Since Doug wasn't able to make it i invited my parents to come too.

The whole day was so busy but so fun and full of her favorite people (minus dada) and friends. She got so many wonderful toys and gifts and i she loves then all (even though she was super shy opening them). Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating with us and i know the only thing that could have made it better was if her dada and tia patty and other cousins where there too. I'm so happy Bella really enjoyed her birthday and it was filled with so many memories. I'm excited for her next birthdays because i know they will be just as special if not more. i love my sweet pea and i cant believe how big she's gotten. I've loved every second that I've had with her and i am so blessed to be her momma! Best job ever!

Luckily for me we made it back to Idaho JUST IN TIME for my high school friend BreAnna's wedding! She married a wonderful guy named Derek and not only was i able to be there for her special day but she asked Bella to be her flower girl:) we where soo honored! Her reception was beautiful! her colors where blue, green, and purple and they looked lovely!
