Mixed emotions.

I couldn't be happier to be expecting. The thought of being able to be pregnant again and have my family grow feels amazing! I love that I get to do this with Doug. I love that I really get to enjoy being pregnant. And I LOVE that Bella gets to be a big sister but for some reason I'm really sad that it will only be just her for a few more months. I do still have 7 months but I know time also goes by too quickly especially when your happy. I've been so lucky to have almost 4 years of just mommy and Bella time and even though I wanted a baby 2 years ago I'm almost happy I didn't get pregnant then. I have just loved being Bella's mom. We get our nails done, go shopping, go swimming, play games and just have us time every day! It sounds so silly but I just live my little girl and I'm even more grateful now that I was able to stay home and really get to spend so much one on one time with her. I know I'll always look back at these years of only having one child and be grateful for the memories and relationship we've built. I'm so scared that ill waist these 7 months and not really enjoy Her. She was my first love after all.
I guess one of my fears of having more children is that I won't make enough quality time with them. That ill be too tired to enjoy it, to busy worrying about a clean house, to busy in general to enjoy just being a mother. Just thinking about it makes me want to grab Bella and squeeze her! I might be a bit clingy to my little girl these next few months. I hope when she gets older that she knows how much she is loved. I hope she always remembers that she's a princess. I hope she remembers how hard Doug and I have worked to be the best parents we could be just for her. I hope she knows that we wanted more babies because she taught us how to love. I feel so lucky to be her mom. Being a mother really is a gift.

Amazing news!

I don't even know where to begin. Okay so I was taking clomid go help my body ovulate and to check if it was working I had a blood test taken on the 15th. My doctor called me later that day and told me that I did ovulate and I was so happy! I told myself even if I didn't get pregnant and just ovulated that was half the battle an I'd be just as happy. So then I had to go in a week later to the labs to take a pregnancy test. I was so nervous yesterday and I couldn't decide whether or not I should take a test at home before or not... I decided to take one at home because I honestly didn't think that I'd be lucky enough to get pregnant on my first round of clomid. I took it at 3am lol I had to pee anyway so I figured why not? And it came our positive! I have been taking these test for over a year always getting negative results so I stared at it for like 5 min to make sure I wasn't looking at it wrong (I have done that before.) I couldn't believe it. It was the most beautiful bright blue lines I have ever seen! I debated waking up Doug or not and I almost didn't since it was 3am but I decided I didn't care and he thought I was tricking him and was so happy too!
Obviously I couldn't fall back asleep because I was so excited! I wanted to tell everyone and I mean everyone but half if me still can't believe that I am actually pregnant! I am so excited for so many things. I am excited to experience this with Doug. I'm excited for whatever Bella says. I'm excited to buy pregnancy clothes. I'm excited to continue eating healthy. The list goes on. So far I've told my sisters, Doug's sisters and a few friends here but were waiting till Mother's Day to tell Doug's mom which is a week and a half away and my mom when she comes visit in 4 weeks! Not telling my mom is going to be so hard but I think waiting till she's here will be so worth it!

Bailey

I don't write much about our puppy bailey but today we took her to the vet and the vet told us that bailey is in perfect health! Her weight is perfect, her fur is in great shape, and her ears are clean! I'm so happy! I'm not a huge dog person, I mean I like them, I play with them, but I do LOVE bailey. She really completes our family and I'm so happy that she is healthy and will be with us for a long time:)

Weight watchers update.

So Doug and I have been on weight watchers for 6 weeks now and I am happy to report that i have lost 12.6 lbs! I am so happy! My clothes are fitting me better and I jut feel healthier and proud of myself. I don't feel deprived of anything. We are all eating SO much healthier and learning how to cook in a way better way. I am so proud of my family!
As for Doug he has lost 12.1 lbs so he's pretty happy too. And weight watchers has been the only plan we've been able to stick to and seen results. I can't wait to see how much we can loose:)

A healthy example.

Doug and I started weight watchers and my mom jokingly said "so Bella's doing weight watchers too huh?" Since she's been eating what were eating and today she asked for yogurt and an orange since that's why we've had. I love what a great example we've been to her!
Before starting weight watchers I told Doug that I wanted to not only loose weight but I wanted to be a healthy example to Bella. I love how already our healthy habits are rubbing off on Bella. I love being a mom!

Weight Watchers!

So a few post ago I wrote about trying to get healthy and I'm proud to say I've actually been trying:) Doug and I did a 7 day cleanse called the "eat your heart out" cleanse. It was hard but we made it thru the week and I lost 8lbs. I of course gained almost 5 pounds the next day even though I started weight watchers the day after the cleanse. I was bummed to gain over half back BUT my #1 goal was to prove myself that I had will power and that I did!
My first week of weight watchers was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I never felt like I was deprived or on a "diet."
It's weird because I've tried counting calories but I never stuck to it AT ALL, but counting points is a breeze to me. It's like subconsciously I have a negative feeling about calories. Anyway today was my first week and my first weigh in and in soooo happy to report that I lost 3.6lbs!!! I know it's not much especially compared to the 8 on the cleanse but these are lbs that will stay off. We even celebrated Doug's birthday and I still lost weight! I feel on top of the world right now:) I did so well I even convinced Doug to join weight watchers too:)
Since Doug joined in he has been super supportive (except on his birthday lol) and we have come up with some fun new recipes, we've been measuring EVERYTHING! It's actually been pretty fun. My favorite recipe so far was the no guilt ice cream. It was blue bell no sugar vanilla ice cream, a banana, and 1/2 tbs of chocolate syrup. It was a total of three points and SOOO good! I can't wait for next weeks weigh in (I never though I'd say that) and then I can even report how Doug did!
Yay to a healthy family!

Trying to get healthy for baby number 2 (or three;)

So Doug and I have been trying for another baby for 15 months now and it's been an up and down journey. Overall I think it's brought us a lot closer together emotionally. Since we have been trying for over a year we can see a fertility doctor (yay!) we have gone twice and so far so good. We just LOVE our doctor. She's super nice, funny and overall very compassionate. She doesn't treat us like a number and we don't feel like we're waisting any time. The day after our first appt she sent us to get some blood work and the next week when we saw her she said I am not ovulating so she prescribed me clomid. Clomid is suppose to help me ovulate and hopefully it works:) we have three cycles worth and if it doesn't she will send us to a specialist in San Antonio.
Any who she also said Doug and I should try to be as healthy as possible if I do get pregnant. She told Doug anything I do he has to do which I like because it helps us feel like we really are doing this together. So we have cut off caffeine completely (so long diet coke), and started to really eat more veggies and fruit. To be honest it's so expensive to eat healthy and it's easier to eat junk (and faster) but we know our doctor is right so we are trying our best to listen. Also we are suppose to be active for at least 60 min a day. The active part is my favorite and easiest so far. Yes I have a three year old and Doug and I really are always on the go with her but its been amazing the last few weeks because Bella has been learning to ride her bike. She started in a red tricycle that was very close to the ground and now rides a 14 inch bike! The bike looked giant at first but she rides it like a pro now. For valentines day we even got her a basket, some steamers, a new bell, and a water bottle for her bike. It's super cute! So now Bella and go to the park or around the neighborhood almost every day and I walk/run while she rides. We do anywhere from 1-2 1/2 miles a day. She really goes fast enough for me to run along side her and today while I was running I was thinking "man this is so awesome that I get to work out with my favorite girl." I think half the battle with me is letting go of the guilt of leaving her for 1-2 hours everyday to work out. I know it's not much time but when Doug comes home and I go to work out we only spend dinner together as a family and that's it. And walking/running with Bella AND Doug sometimes just makes my whole day. It really has become my favorite part of the day. This last few months/year were hard on my heart. I can't express how much I wanted a baby brother or sister for Bella and a new baby in our family but I feel so grateful for the two other members in my family now and I love the time we are spending together to make it possible.
