Happy Thanksgiving!

And what a truly happy thanksgiving it was! My parents who have helped me with Bella since day one missed her like crazy! We used thanksgiving as a great excuse to get together. Bella recognized them immediately but wasn't sure from where exactly. She just knew she loved them and only wanted them the whole time they where here. She was so snugly with them giving them both equal amount of kisses and luvs and honestly that's all Doug and i wanted for thanksgiving<3

However i was also thankful for a successful and delicious first thanksgiving meal! My turkey was amazing, i was so surprised. The only thing i managed to mess up was the pre-made gravy which i got at Sam's Club. I only had to put it in the fridge and then heat it up but of course we unloaded the grocery's i forgot. Doug was grateful for it though because then we where forced to make homemade gravy and that turned delicious too! The 5 of us gathered together in my little kitchen and gobbled up! I felt so fortunate to have my family and parents here together. After dinner we watched grown ups and finished the night at B.L.O.R.A where they had beautiful lights! Everyone loved it! Truly the best thanksgiving ever!

Lets Go To The CIRCUS!

I LOVE family activities! Doug came home last week with a free circus ticket for a child 12 and under and i was SO excited! turns out Bella got in for free anyway but still Friday came we all got ready and drove 45 min to the expo. Which is an AMAZING and HUGE building! I think i was the most excited out of the three. We went in bought our tickets, got Doug a pretzel and Bella a fun sparkly glowing toy and went in!

Bella wasn't sure what to expect when we first went inside.
During the intermission Bella got to ride on her first elephant ride! She was scarred at first and then she just looked out and waved at dad:)

We where all super tired at the end of the night! I think the circus was a success!

Rock The Hood

We happened to be stationed at Fort Hood here in good ol' Texas also known as

The Great Place!
and i have to say the base itself is actually very nice. They happened to be VERY family oriented here and always have fun family activities. Not to mention all the families are pretty supportive and know exactly what your going threw since they are going or have gone threw it themselves. We where lucky enough to hear about one activity called
Rock the Hood

It was to honor those lost and recognize their heroic efforts on November 5, 2009. Hoping that the Fort Hood family would come together and grow stronger.
They had a different assortments of band there like FLYLEAF (big fan) puddle of mud, Chris Cagle and more. They also had some free carnival rides, delicious food, face painting something for everyone! It was a very fun family day and i have to say my little girl was amazing the whole day! she loved the bands and watching everyone!

On The Move....

Packing is a pain and a 27 hour drive with a toddler is no ones idea of fun...However we made the best of it. Enjoyed each others company.
And Defiantly made the best out of it!

We ended up staying in a few hotel's along the way and when we FINALLY made it to our destination we stayed in a hotel again for another 6 nights trying to find a place to call "home." The waiting paid off because just in time we found.....

The perfect house for us.

We have been living here for about 3 weeks now and it is really starting to feel like home. Of course the three of us sure do miss our family back home (and Boston) but were together and that is what truly matters!

Mr&Mrs.Simpson

Doug and I where married and sealed for time and all eternity October 16, 2010 in the Boise Temple and i have to tell you it was defiantly one of the best days of my life! It was so perfect and I was surprisingly very calm that whole day. The sealing was so personal and special I am very proud and happy of how we chose to tie the knot!
I was so blessed to be able to share my day with so many loved ones and the reception was absolutely stunning and a BLAST! We danced all night long and the everything from the dinner to the decorations was perfect.
I'm almost positive that my husband is the best husband in the world. He is so loving and we have now been married for one month and 2 days and I have to say I am one lucky lady! He is so loving and patient with me and so wonderful with our baby girl. I know we will have many bumps along the road but I couldn't have picked a better partner to share my journey with.
